U12 pitch at 40 feet and U8 and U10 pitch at 35 feet. Best to purchase a spike-down pitching rubber for the shorter distances. 24 x 6" heavy duty weather resistance construction. • Comment: Girls 14U pitch from the same distance as the HIGH SCHOOL Girls. Metal Cleats – • Junior Olympic Fast Pitch 10U, 12U: No metal cleats. No metal spikes nor hard plastic or polyurethane spikes similar to a metal sole and heel plate are allowed. • Comments: Girls Junior Olympic Fast Pitch 14U may wear metal cleats.

  4. 4 | P a g e 2018 LEAGUE TEAM EXPENSE • TEAM FEE • 6 BALLS (Range) – $2.50 to $5.50 PER BALL • LEAGUE ENTRY FEE - $30.00 PER TEAM – INCLS (1) RULE BOOK & SCOREBOOK PACKET PER TEAM • TOTAL • ENTRY FEE + BALLS + “ROUND-UP” to even $5.00 per age group: • All MACHINE Pitch Teams = $50.00 • ALL LIVE PITCH TEAMS = $65.00 2017 LEAGUE INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION FEE • INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION • $12 PER PLAYER • $12 COACH • The individual registration fee is the only League expense for a parent. • To have their child participate in Windmill events such as tournaments and league play the cost is $12. • One of the benefits of this expense is the safety and welfare of the participant. They are automatically covered for Liability and Accident Insurance. TOURNAMENT EXPENSE • INDIVIDUAL (COACH/PLAYER) – $2.50 PLAYER MEDAL W/RIBBON (REQUIRED) – $ 2.50 U16 PLAYER MEDAL W/KEYCHAIN (REQUIRED) – $ 2.50 COACH MEDAL W/KEYCHAIN (REQUIRED) – $8.00 TOURNAMENT SHIRT (ENCOURAGED) • TEAM – $50.00 MACHINE PITCH (BALLS & UMPIRES) – $130.00 ALL LIVE PITCH (BALLS & UMPIRES)

  5. 5 | P a g e Tentative Schedule  Start Date (5/28) – Memorial Day is May 28  Length of Season (8 week schedule) – 3-4 home games; Start date May 28; off July 4 th ; makeup games w/o July 30. Alternate start date June 4; talk about July 4 and makeup games.  May 13 - Schedule Release  May 20 - Umpire Clinic (Need location)  April 6 – Player/Team Registration Form due (electronic copy)  April 16 – Fees due (enclose itemized statement)  April 18 - Coaches Meeting  JUNE 30 – TOURNAMENT FEE WITH COPY OF INVOICE DUE  July 4 th is a Wednesday  Latest last day of school - June 7 and June 8  Single game format for U6-U8-U10 while school in session  U6-U8 and High School single game format  U10, U12, and U14 DH format  Check 8 th grade graduation  WIAA State Tournament is Thursday thru Saturday, June 7-9; Regionals May 22, 23, 25; Sectionals May 29, 31  August 2-3-4 EOY Tournament

Occasionally in contention. Have good but not overwhelming pitching. Some experienced and skilled players. Lack the experienced and skilled players. Comment Thank you for providing girl youth in your community an opportunity to participate at a competitive level and build solid fundamentals and life skills that will help carry them through High School and beyond. This is my granddaughter way back when and on the next page now.
