Overview 1 Blackout! And a miracle for RCEs 9 and 10 Prescales raised to 3 for stability SSPs now running in self-triggered mode with sparsification J. I NSLER – LSU December 2, 2015
Blackout 2 Power lost late Friday night DAQ restored Saturday afternoon by disabling SELinux on lbnedaq6 and 7 RCEs 9 and 10 returned to functioning after blackout High noise oscillation returned once on Saturday evening; eliminated by power-cycling ASICs on RCEs 11-14 High noise oscillation returned this morning, did not respond to power-cycling ASICs on first attempt SSP 01 became uninitializeable after blackout; fixed on Sunday by power-cycling J. I NSLER – LSU December 2, 2015
DAQ Stability 3 Prescales currently set at 3 for stability John Freeman found that asynchronous read errors are due to rising back pressure in previous runs. New setting in user run options.fcl: daq.fragment receiver.max buffer attempts (default of 10) Buffer attempts can be adjusted to allow for more tolerance of back pressure, at risk of asynchronous read error crashes J. I NSLER – LSU December 2, 2015
SSPs in Self-Triggered Mode 4 SSPs now running in dual self-triggered/externally triggered mode Thresholds tuned to eliminate high activity on some channels, particularly in SSPs 03 and 05 Weeder aka sparsification implemented to eliminate radiologicals (triggers without coincidence on SSPs) and drop waveforms, keeping headers, for SSP self-triggered events J.
