School rules - Latecoming • Assembly will start at 7.30 am in the hall. • Pupils who are not in the hall at 7.30am are considered late. • Persistent latecomers will be issued with a warning letter . St Anthony ’ s Primary School Crescit Eundo
School rules – School Attire • Pupils must be in school uniform unless they have PE lessons on that day. • The school tie must be worn every day during assembly with the school uniform. • Pupils are strongly encouraged to put on school socks or plain white socks with white canvas shoes. • Nametags must be sewn above the school crest on all shirts/blouses/PE attire. • New nametags can be ordered from the school bookshop. School rules - Handphones • Handphones must be switched off during school hours . • Pupils must seek permission of teachers to use phone after school for necessary calls or messages . • Handphones should not be used for playing games or listening to music in school. • Consequence for misuse of handphones – It will be confiscated and parents have to come to school to claim it personally.
Healthy Living • Health Promoting Canteen • Suggestion: 60 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity everyday, on five or more days a week. • Examples: Cycling, Badminton St Anthony ’ s Primary School Crescit Eundo

What is SBB? • No EM1, EM2 or EM3 • Pupils do subjects classes. at the levels that • Subjects are offered at best meet their abilities study Standard and subjects they are Foundation levels strong in to the • NOT INTENDED to highest level possible provide a softer option.

Be assured … • We will proceed in the best interest of every child • We will review cases at the margins carefully and ensure that we always give our pupils an appropriate combination of subjects • We will work with parents to ensure you understand the rationale of our recommendations • But in the end, the choice this year lies with you – the parents
Home Support Alignment • Support – E.g. Reading all school letters and Anthonian Updates & file for future reference) • Positive Reinforcement E.g. Praise when your child has done well. • Concern E.g. Supervision on computer usage • Working together E.g. Talk about what they have learnt in school today or get your child to ‘teach’ you what they have learnt.
