M-STEP is Large Scale * a 21st Century online test. Assessment * designed to gauge how well students are mastering state standards. M-STEP results * (when combined with classroom work, report cards, local district assessments, and other tools) offer a comprehensive view of student progress and achievement.

Michigan’s Involvement in the C3 Framework Michigan participated in the development of the C3 2 of the 16 C3 Framework Framework beginning in writers are from Michigan 2012 Over 40 teachers, ISD representatives, and higher education representatives participated in the standards update and C3 Framework development process
Notable Changes, 6 th and 7 th Grade Change Rationale 6 th Grade will be World Geography Existing content expectations for 6 th and 7 th grade are redundant. Contemporary civics/government and economics content is integrated throughout the year. 7 th Grade will be World History Existing content expectations for 6 th and 7 th grade are redundant. The artificial separation of Eastern and Western hemisphere is eliminated.
