Group Work • Students are placed into 5 large “families” and then broken down into smaller “groups” of about 4-5 students. • Families are mixed with 6-8 graders. • Students complete Group Huddle Contracts and Group Management Logs.

Frequently asked questions…. • If my child gets into iSTEAM this year, will they have to reapply next spring? NO. They will remain in iSTEAM through their 8 th grade year. • Will my child be able to participate in extracurricular activities? YES. Students will be able to leave iSTEAM for electives (band, drama, athletics, etc.)
