History of the GVVC November 2006 Initial meetings held to establish the Greater Verde Valley Chapter (GVVC ). • Ray Newton - YCF President • Steve Walker – YCF Executive Director • Ray Elliott – YCF Board Sedona • Rich Kimble – 1 st GVVC Board President

History of the GVVC February 2007 • GVVC President reported that 17 people attended the February 2007 Chapter meeting. • Dr. Ray Elliot passed away and was recognized as the founder of the GVVC. • The GVVC was underway!

History of the GVVC 2007 • New YCF Board President Oren Thompson initiates audit of all YCF activities & auxiliaries. • Marilyn Sunderman Foundation • YCF Auxiliary in Sedona was found to be out of compliance with YCF mission • Assets were moved to the Sedona Center for the Arts

GVVC to FoSWC December 2013 • The GVVC Board voted 6-2 to dissolve the GVVC and establish the Friends of the Southwest Wine Center (FoSWC) Auxiliary.
