I’ve been blessed with a wonderful coach who has taught me the value of hard work and continually pushes me to improve. Strategies ● Make a list of scholarships for which you qualify ● Assess each individual opportunity ● Prioritize your opportunities ● Set specific time aside each week - it’s a part-time job! ● Set goal of 3-5 every month ● Spend time on the ones you have the best chance of being selected for! ● Apply to as many as possible!

  12. How will I know? ● Most scholarship programs state when applicants will be notified ● Do not be afraid to contact the program ● Recipients will usually be notified via email or phone

  13. Upon Receipt... ● Send a handwritten note thanking the scholarship provider for the scholarship money ● In almost all cases, scholarship money is sent directly to the college you plan to attend
