Cur Curriculum 2021 riculum 2021 Our teaching staff support our students to develop academic knowledge, skills and understanding alongside the graduate attributes: • Digital fluency • Confidence • Global citizenship Its point of reference is the vision set out in our Strategy 2026 document and Education Strategy, namely that we shall support our students to become ‘creative and culturally rich graduates with the capacity to find employment that will enable them to be agents for change in a connected world’.
Background • Major KPI for the Management School : Create a high profile, sector leading, competitively resourced and globally-focused careers and employability service that meets the needs of all our students. • Explore the feasibility for a Centre for Future Ready Graduates. • Consult with our existing and emerging employer network to identify what their requirements are of graduates and use this to inform our portfolio design. • Provide every on-campus student with the opportunity of a placement or related industrial activity • The Marketing team became aware of the fact that a number of alumni, reflecting on their ULMS experience, stated that they had expected more engagement with and exposure to businesses. • We already provide a wide range of guest speakers on our modules and this obviously was not completely fulfilling students’ needs and expectations and this project was a deliberate attempt to provide real engagement and close working with organisations and potential employers.
