Strategies that encourage dia ialogue • Affirm children’s observations and questions. • When kids ask a question, ask for their thoughts first. • Regularly “notice” out loud things like a lack of representation or stereotypes. • For kids 7+: ask how a situation might look or feel to a person of color.
