Sports Mental Skills Coach and Sports Counseling A note from Rachael Hanley – The most elite athletes in the sports industry understand the importance of the mental aspect of their sport in order to achieve their goals. This sports counseling program will focus on the mental aspect of the athlete’s sport and help them build the correct mental mindset to be able to compete at the highest level possible. This program will help athletes keep track of their goals, stay focused on these goals, and better prepare them for their next athletic stage. Chalk talks with the athletes will focus on goal setting, stress management, decision making skills, time management, performance evaluation, conflict resolution, recruiting, leadership, communication skills, fears & obstacles, and much more. ● Colleges and universities want student-athletes who are physically capable of being an excellent athlete but who are also emotionally mature enough to play competitively and maintain a high academic status. ● I will be helping these athletes prepare for their tournaments, games, big events, etc. And then evaluate their performances after their tournaments. If they did not meet their goals then we would discuss and evaluate why and how they can achieve these goals in the future. ● Every athlete will have a notebook where they will keep track of their goals, the chalk talk sessions and situations where they need feedback.
