BOND UPDATE: PROCUREMENT SCHEDULE: • High and Middle School Seismic Projects: • Bid April 9 th , 2019 • Received 3 bids / Had Interest from 7 Companies. • High School Renovation Project: • Bid April 11 th , 2019 • Received 2 bids / Four Prequalified / One Dropped when Documents issued (Just received large project from existing client) / One could not complete number on bid day. • Primary and Intermediate School Projects: • Bids May 2nd, 2019 • Presently 6 interested companies. • Middle School: • Received word last week from ODE that NMSD was not successful with our second grant application. • Scope review discussions to commence first week of May. • Documents to be ready early 2020 for Bid / Construction after spring break 2020

  3. CONSTRUCTION: MISC. PROJECTS: • Wilson Property: • Removed all nut trees from property. • Burnt all trees during spring Break. • Johnston property: • All hazardous Material abated. • Aurora Fire District used House for Training purposes every Monday evening for 2 months. • Aurora Fire District completed burn to learn activity March 30, 2019 • Presently cleaning up house footprint and infilling the basement for safety. • Corner Lot adjacent Baseball field: • Rock parking lot completed – Will be laydown and trailer lot for High School Project. • Additional rock parking after completion of construction projects.

CONSTRUCTION: Parking Lots: • Primary School: • Schedule: All Complete except installation of Light Poles & Punch List • Completed By All-Way Excavating – On Schedule • Includes additional 14 parking stalls 2 nd Entrance to move traffic off Grim Road at drop off and pick up (Marion County • Request) • Middle School: Schedule: Ahead of Schedule – Substantial completion Aug. 1 st / Plan to be complete by early July. • • Construction by All-Way Excavating • Includes an additional 63 parking stalls/new parent and bus drop off and pick up. • Presently 3 Change Orders • Relocate spoils to Wilson Property in Lieu of Johnston Property • Over Excavation due to unforeseen soft soils • Burn Wilson Property Trees & Clean Up Johnston Property House • Present Disruption to School: • No Parking – Staff at district office parking or Primary School • Bus Drop Off and Pick Up – Behind High School • School Office: Entrance at Commons Door by Buzzer System

  5. HIGH SCHOOL: • Bid April 11, 2019 – Bid/Budget Discussion during Financial Review • Ground Breaking Scheduled May 8 th , 2019 @ 5:30pm • Furniture Vendor has been selected and design started. Procurement of Furniture will be by Cooperative Purchasing Agreements after selections. Furniture will be procured by Phasing. PHASING:

Fall 2019 – Spring Break: September 2019: Following Staff Relocated: * Spanish to Room 7 * Sped to new suite in Music Wing. * ELL to Room 1 * Culinary to New Suite in CTE Building * Ag Science to Room 3 New Bus Pick Up/ Drop off @ Commons Parking No Staff Room for Duration of School Year. Construction Laydown Safety Tunnel Student Travel Path Scope of Work: * Construction of Classroom Wing

Scope of Work Spring Break 2020 to completion of Project (Oct/Nov 2020) * Demo of Existing classroom/admin wings * Construction of Admin Wing & Courtyard Spring Break 2020 * Construction of Student Parking Front Entrance of School thru Commons for remainder of project Following Staff Relocated: * Admin Office Relocated to temp office set up in Commons at end of Husky Hall (Closed) * DeAnn / Ron / Cheri Relocated to new Conference rooms and offices in Music Wing. * Career Center set up in New Music Storage Room. * Counseling / Family Outreach Relocated to offices / Training room in gym 1 basement. September 2020: * Partial open of new student parking lot Completion of Project: * Relocate above staff to new locations within Administration Wing
