NORTH MARION School District- Bond Projects BOND OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE June 19, 2019

BOND UPDATE: SCHEDULE: • High and Middle School Seismic Projects: • Under Construction – Moving along on schedule. • Middle school work now expanded from gym into locker rooms, now school is out. • High School Renovation Project: • Todd Construction Under Contract • Mobilized on site. • Classroom addition – trees removed and utilities being relocated. • Asbestos abatement and demo taking place in CTE Building & Music Wing • Working on Value Engineering ideas • Middle School: • SD Scope being Modified to proceed with an estimate. • Documents to be ready early 2020 for Bid / Construction after spring break 2020 • Review if Project should be added to Primary and Intermediate School Project Bid Documents

HIGH SCHOOL: • CTE / MUSIC WING: • Asbestos removal started • Demolition started • Furniture order to be completed by next week • CLASSROOM WING: • All trees removed • Existing utilities being relocated

HIGH SCHOOL GYM SEISMIC : • All concrete footings and slab poured. • All masonry walls and wood framed walls complete in basement. • Seismic columns being installed in basement. • Electrical and mechanical rough in proceeding • All bow truss top chords seismically enhanced

MIDDLE SCHOOL GYM SEISMIC : • All demolition complete • Beam / strapping installation in gym in process • Concrete wall poured 6.18.19 • Started work in locker rooms 6.17.19 • All boiler work to commence next week.

POUR DAY

MIDDLE SCHOOL PARKING LOT: • ALL CONCRETE FLATWORK COMPLETE • LIGHTING POLES TO BE INSTALLED EARLY JULY • IRRIGATION COMPLETE AND PLANTING EARLY NEXTY MONTH • PAVING TAKING PLACE THIS WEEK • STRIPING TO BE COMPLETE 7 DAYS AFTER PAVING :
