Homework Year Set Work & Comment Level or Reading 6 20-30mins Homework reflects work 7 40mins done in class providing consolidation experiences. 8 50mins Assignments are set 9 60mins according to content taught. 10 60mins
Diaries & Due Dates � All students are expected to complete assigned homework by the due date. � Diaries are used by students to keep track of assessments and homework. � A term assessment calendar is given with estimated due dates for each assessment. � Homework Centre- Wednesday 3:15-4:00 pm

Detention/Homework Recovery � Detention/Homework recovery runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday lunchtimes for students that have not completed required classwork, homework or assignments or who exhibit poor behaviour Students are advised to bring a note from a parent identifying why they have not completed homework or an assignment by the due date.
Bullying/Harassment � PCS has a “ Zero Tolerance ” of bullying. � If a child is found to be bullying or being bullied, the child will immediately be removed from the area where it is taking place and the incident fully investigated. � It is important that your child informs teachers of any issues in order for teachers to take action.

Communication � Please email your child’s teachers if you have any subject related concerns. They will do the same. � Email or phone (leave a message with the front office) your child’s Pastoral Care teacher if you have any general concerns or questions. They will do the same. � Your child’s PCG teacher is your first point of contact
