Future Soldier Wilkerson Student Debt Problem • Consumer Reports “College Kind of Ruined My Life • FS Wilkerson never saw or had a reason to talk to a Military Recruiter. • His co-workers who are Reservists and Veterans getting promoted faster than him because they already have the “intangibles” that employers are looking for, such as Leadership and Team- Building. • Jonathan also spoke about how if he had known that the Army Reserve would pay his full tuition, through a Minuteman Scholarship, to George Washington University, he would have saved $200,000.

Oxford Area High School Marches 2 Success 1K6B – West Chester Recruiting Center Who: West Chester Recruiting Center What: March 2 Success Club When: 17 Jan 2016 Where: Oxford Area HS, PA Why: The school lost funding for their SAT/ACT preparatory class and the Army stepped in and offered March 2 Success for their students.

Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Battalion 1K4F Competition Strategy Success Story • Using the USAR as a competition strategy to apply to the right school in order to pursue one’s passions and gain critical career experience and certifications. • Chris was a Senior at Red Bank Regional High School in Red Bank, NJ. He applied early acceptance to several universities to include the University of Michigan and University of Rhode Island. • He was accepted to the URI Engineering Program early acceptance but not UM. • US Army Reserve as a 42A, Human Resources Technician. He was then able to apply to the University of Michigan's Engineering program again as a Service Member. • He was accepted to the program for the fall of 2017 as The University of Michigan is an Army Concurrent Admission Program Partner (ConAP).

Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Battalion 1K4E West Point Story • How a Central Jersey Resident can enlist, get accepted to West Point, and receive a commission. • 2LT Campbell graduated from Middletown North. He was denied acceptance to the United States Military Academy at West Point. • Army Reserves as a Civil Affairs Specialist. After completing BCT and AIT he joined his unit where he reapplied to West Point as a service member. • West Point has an estimated 80 prior service slots that require a Commander’s endorsement where as civilians require a Congressional nomination. 2LT Campbell received his endorsement and reported to the United States Military Preparatory School at West Point.
