  2. What is the SSDS? New for the 17-18 school year ● Replaced the EVVRS and HIB-IT Reports ● ● Revisions to the Incident Reporting System Some fields have been removed (burglary & fireworks) ○ Some fields have been combined (bomb threat, fake ○ bomb, fire alarm offense are now one offense: False Public Alarm Some field have been separated (Substance Use is now ○ two separate incident types: Substance Use Confirmed and Substance Suspected, Refused Exam) ○ Additional Revisions: HIB Incident and now described as HIB Alleged or HIB confirmed, All removals must be reported (not just removals for Sp.Ed.) New Incident Fields: Bias Intimidation (confirmed by ○ law enforcement), Computer Trespass, Other Incident Leading to Removal

In Closing We will continue to: ● Bring the administration, staff, School Safety/Climate Team and District ABS together to review data. ● Use this data to plan programs and inform practices, approaches, and curriculum. ● Inform students on the dangers of vaping ● Partner with WLB Police Dept. and community resources ● Inform all stakeholders
