Cancellation of Student Trips The Calgary Board of Education believes in the educational value of international travel and that the safety of our students and staff is of the highest importance. It was an extremely difficult decision to cancel these international trips and one that we did not take lightly. We recognise the time and effort that staff and students have dedicated to the planning for these trips and the disappointment around the cancellations. 3
Why these trips have been cancelled Fluidity of Global Health Crisis Prevent having our tour operators make itinerary changes which may have resulted in further costs Responsible International Partner & other International Reponses Heightened Global Anxiety around illness Insurance Response - Possibility of being able to reclaim some funds which may have been refundable 4
