Internal Reading August 2017 all teachers were ● trained in the F&P Benchmark Assessment: Assessment System K-3 students are assessed 4 ● times a year (September, F&P Benchmark November, March, June) Assessment 4-8 students are assessed 3 ● times a year (September, System January, June)

1. Complete F&P’s finding Independent and Instructional levels for all readers Crafting Instructional 2. Determine Instructional Goals (at least 2) for every reader Plans for Readers: 3. Create an optimal instructional schedule that varies structures based on a reader’s relationship to benchmark Our Process 4. Revise based on time, materials and other considerations 5. Identify readers that have not grown (or made insuffjcient growth) and craft a more detailed, more nuanced plan 6. Consult out-of-classroom support
