Why? Equity Vision An equitable school district is one in which district stakeholders of all cultures and perspectives, are provided with the structures, environment, and resources needed to reach their greatest potential. Equity Definition Equity is a commitment to the empathetic understanding of everyone’s needs and perspectives, even those that differ from our own. Equity is withal, the non-negotiable implementation of professional learning, school policies/practices and the redistribution of power that values all stakeholders and promotes human flourishing.
