Some reasons for early rejection … • Unrealistic claims & ridiculous metaphors. • Too much detail (should be no more than 2 pages). • Writing in the third person. • Too fussy (keep it simple & structured). • Errors & dishonesty (a waste of everyone’s time). • Use of complex words & acronyms. • Too much focus on team efforts (your CV is about YOU).
