Joint working The Community Safety team are located at Barry Police Station South Wales Police and Community Safety work jointly when dealing with ASB. Access to the Police system Link between all Council services
Joint working Youth Offending Service (YOS) The community safety team work closely with the youth offending team when dealing with the young people that cause ASB in the Vale. The aim is to look at prevention and ways to engage the young person. As part of this intervention that is offered Neighbourhood Resolution Panel (NRP) is offered to the young person as part of the ASB process. The NRP is conducted by a 1 Partnership Officer and 1 YOS Officer with a YOS volunteer.
Joint working continued Vale Housing and RSL’s All housing related ASB is now meet with a joint response from the CST and the housing providers. This will include joint visits were further support can be offered and information on how these behaviours can effect tenancy. All issues are attempt to be resolved before taking any punitive action.
