MINIMUM CHARGE Customers with demands below 500 KW are s ubj ec t to a minimum monthly charge equal to the Basic Service Charge. Customers with demands of500 KW, or more are subject to a minimum monthly charge equal to the sum of the Customer Charge, the product of the Demand Charge a nd the monthly billing demand and all applicable adjustments. LOCAL TAX ADJUSTMENT To b ill s for electric se rvi ce supplied within specified munic ip alities or political subdivisions which impose taxes based upon the amount of electric service so ld or revenues received by th e Company, as specified on Original Sheet No. 4-1 , wi ll be added a surcharge equal to the percentage shown on Sheet Nos. 4-2, 4-3, and 4-4 to accomplish a recovery of these taxes. PAYMENT Bills are due up on receipt and payable by mail, checkless payment plan, electronic payment plan, or at authorized payment age nt s of the Company within twenty (20) days of the mailing date. MEASUREMENT AND DETERMINATION OF DEMAND AND ENERGY The billing demand in KW shall be taken monthly as the single highest 15-minute peak in KW as registered during the mon th by a demand meter or indicator. Where service is delivered through two meters to an ex isting customer, the monthly billing dema nd will be taken as th e sum of th e two demands separately determined a nd th e billing KWH taken as th e s um of the K WHs separately determined. Monthly billing demands for customers with actual or contracted demands of 500 KW or more of capacity sha ll not be less than 60% of the greater of (a) the customer's contract capacity in excess of I 00 KW , or (b) the customer's hi ghest previously estab li shed monthly billing demand during the past 11 months in excess of 100 KW. Billing demands w ill be rounded to the nearest whole KW.
