  2. TR TRS MEDICAL CHANGES TH THIS YEAR • ActiveCare 1-HD will now be called ActiveCare HD • New Primary Plan • Primary Plus plan will replace TRS Select Plan

  3. Open Enrollment NEW HIRE ENROLLMENT It’s that time of year for you to enroll in your benefit elections! This is the perfect time to plan expenses and do a thorough checkup on your benefit elections for the 2020-2021 plan year. IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER: • You have 31 days from your date of hire to enroll in your benefits • Enrollment appointments are available every Friday for your First Financial Account Manager to call you and discuss benefit options at https://annaisd.timetap.com/ • Sign up to schedule your New Hire benefit call today! Remember , after Open Enrollment period ends, you will not be able to make a change to your benefits unless you have a Qualifying Life Event. You must notify the benefits department within 31 days of the change .

  4. DE DECLINING CLINING COVERA RAGE If you are eligible for benefits, but wish to DECLINE coverage, you will still need to make a benefit appointment to receive your district provided benefits. You will need to provide beneficiary information for your district provided term life insurance. You will need to provide all dependent information for each person in your household for your district provided family telemedicine.

Eligibility & Enrollment ELIGIBILITY • Must be actively at work on the plan effective date for new benefits to be effective • Typically benefits will take effect the first of the month following the date of hire ENROLLMENT • New Hires have 31 days from your actively-at-work date to make benefit elections no exceptions will be made for late enrollees

Ho How w to Enr nroll ll I WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: ü Social Security Numbers and dates of birth for all Spouses and eligible Dependents ü Any Status/Life Event or address changes ü Questions about available benefits ü Look over the new medical plan changes and options. ü If choosing the TRS Primary or Primary+ Plans you will need to search for your Doctor with this link www.bcbstx.com/trsactivecare ü Have the 10 digit PCP number ready to input into the system. Sign up to receive a call from your FFGA Representative by visiting, https://annaisd.timetap.com/ • To view available times please click “next” at the bottom right of the first 3 pages • You will then arrive at a page with a calendar showing dates with availability to schedule your call • Select the Friday you would like to speak with a First Financial Representative • Then select a morning or afternoon appointment window. (Please note: You are scheduling to receive a call at some point within your requested window) • Once you have made your selection, click “Next” and enter your contact information • When you are done, click “Save”. Please wait until you receive email confirmation that your appointment was scheduled

  7. - TRS-ACTIVECARE TRS-ACTIVECARE TRS-ActiveCare Plans have a new administrator! BlueCross BlueShield of Texas will be replacing Aetna as the plan administrator on Sept. 1, 2020. Please visit the participant website for information on the new plan designs and new provider networks.

  8. - TRS-ACTIVECARE TRS-ACTIVECARE TRS-ActiveCare Plan Options Primary: Completely NEW plan option. You MUST actively elect this plan if you choose the Primary plan. Your current medical election will NOT automatically roll into this plan. Primary+: If you are currently enrolled in the Select Plan and you do not change your election, you WILL be rolled into the Primary+ plan. HD: If you are currently enrolled in the HD-1 plan and you do not change your election, you WILL be rolled into the HD plan.

  9. TRS-ActiveCare introduces the NEW - TRS-ACTIVECARE TRS-ACTIVECARE Primary Plan and the Primary+ Plan (formerly the Select Plan)! Both plans offer affordable co-pays. Primary Primary+ These do NOT offer Out-of-Network benefits, so you MUST choose a Primary Care Physician and only go to providers in the statewide network.

  10. - TRS-ACTIVECARE TRS-ActiveCare Plan Options TRS-ACTIVECARE HD & ActiveCare 2 are both ActiveCare 2 HD PPO plans with a Nationwide network. You do NOT need a PCP on these plans. They do both offer Out-of-Network benefits, but you will save money by staying in network. HD is the only TRS- ActiveCare plan that is HSA eligible, as it does meet the IRS definition of a High Deductible Health Plan. ActiveCare 2 is NOT open for new enrollment; however, current participants have the option to remain on the plan.
