Our aims To provide children with a range of engaging sporting opportunities • To give children the tools to lead healthy, active lifestyles and become • lifelong participants of sport
Our objectives Using the National Curriculum, we devised an assessment checklist for our children to achieve. Here are simplified examples of how this looks in different year groups: EYFS (Eg, Maintain body shapes, Copy basic body actions) Year 2 (Eg, Compare previous performances, Co-operate with team mates) Year 4 (Eg, Apply complex principles for attacking) Year 6 (Eg, Perform a sequence of actions with control and precision)
Tag Rugby, Dance, Gymnastics, Basketball, Football, Problem Solving Hockey, Netball, Activities, Tactical Cricket, Rounders Games Traditional Sports Creative Activities How we meet these objectives Obscure Activities Individual Sports Orienteering, Indoor Bowls, Dodgeball, Athletics, Swimming, Capture the Flag, Archery, Tennis Volleyball, Parachute Games
What else does my child do? We also offer the following activities during break and lunch times: Before School Fitness, Dodgeball, Football, Yoga, Chess, Cardio, Zumba, Tennis, Dance
Is there anything else? Children can also attend these after school clubs: Dance, Multi Sports, Football, Netball, Cricket, Kick Boxing, Athletics And if they work very hard and develop their talents, they can even be chosen to represent our school teams in the following: Football, Cricket, Athletics, Basketball, Handball, Dance, Netball, Rounders, Tag Rugby, Tennis, Dodgeball

Our journalist team are responsible for attending sports fixtures to take photographs, conduct interviews and compile reports
Our children were given the chance to offer their feedback about PE and Sport at Woodhouse: On average, 26 out of 30 children would give PE at Woodhouse a 10/10 rating And the remaining 4 out of 30 children would give PE at Woodhouse either a 7,8 or 9 rating
