What is ‘More than Sport’ ? • More than Sport is a WMPCC funded diversionary project that uses sport, physical activity or even volunteering within the local sporting infrastructure as a vehicle for positive change for vulnerable young people aged 13-24. • These young people have been identified as already being involved in, or are at risk of being involved in, the criminal justice system • Focus on engagement and sustainability

Risks of Lo Loneliness • Vulnerability to: grooming, gambling, radicalisation, substance misuse • Self harm/Suicide • Breakdown of the family unit • Reduced school attendance/attainment • Difficulty securing employment • Further entrenchment
