Get involved! Children really value the support of the adults around them – you are their inspiration and role models! Although family life is busy, please try and find time to give your child support and guidance. Our advice is: ‘Be the person you want your child to be …’ This may involve: helping with ideas, encouragement & praise providing a distraction-free place to work checking written work for spelling and punctuation providing equipment and a quiet place to work sharing and enjoying engagement in learning Time for hobbies and clubs commenting on successes and/or any problems in a child ’ s home / school book. Please do check your child ’ s diary daily and sign in at the end of each week attending parent / teacher evenings , VIP events, class assemblies & PFA events continue to read to them / hear them read – share stories and news! To keep you informed about your child’s learning and progress we will be sending out text letting your know how they are getting on.
