PE and Sports Children need to bring in their full PE kit (both outdoor and indoor) on Monday for the whole week. Please send socks if girls are wearing tights. Earrings are to be taken out by your child – they are not allowed to take part in swimming or PE with them in. Swimming is on a Tuesday (dependent on the enrichment timetable) and will need to make sure that they have their full swim kit. If your child is not swimming please let the class teacher know. They must have a waterproof swimming hat and either a one piece swimming costume or fitted shorts. PE is on a Wednesday however this is subject to change which is why it is important to have their kits in all week. To encourage independence, we will not be able to phone home if a child has forgotten their kit.
Uniform Wearing the correct uniform to school is important. Please support us by ensuring your child comes to school wearing their uniform in a smart way. Please label all clothing!
Equipment • A water bottle • A sensible sized pencil case (to fit inside their drawer) containing: Pencils Blue ink pen (supplied by school)- children issued with “pen license” by their new class teacher Green biro Colouring pencils Scissors Glue stick Ruler (30cm – not a flexi rule!) How can I help my child? Arrive on time for school. Listen to your child read every day and discuss what they have read! Practice Times Tables. Encourage them to write for pleasure.
If I need to contact the teacher… Send in a letter with your child or send an email to the office. They will forward to us and we will respond within 48hrs.
