Honors College Misconcept ptions • SPIN is not just attended by Honors students • Different set of requirements • A student can attend FOAP and still be a part of the Honors College

Colorado State Unive versity • Titled: “Preview Orientation” • Requirement: Enrolled in honors college program • Attended: 218 students last year • Goal: To provide focused advising and registration services • Structure: Same as the “Preview Orientation” sessions during the summer • Time: First orientation session of the summer
Unive versity of Hawaii at Manoa Manoa • Titled: Honors Welcome and Orientation (HWO) • Qualifications: Acceptance into Honors Program • Attendance: 130 students • Structure: One hour long • Benefits: Be familiarized with honors faculty, staff, and current honors students • Feedback : More involvement on campus
Unive versity of Arka kansas • Requirement: Enrolled in the honors college • Time: 2-3 honors sessions per summer • Attendance : 800-900 honors students • Structure: Starts earlier on day one of the two- day program • Benefits: Priority scheduling
