ROAR Reminders and Reporting • Mail or email your end of year report forms to the Department ROAR Chair by April 15. – Don’t forget your cover page with unit name, number, district, and zone • When reporting, if there is no activity to report in a program, report “no activity”. This will satisfy citation requirements. Who is eligible? • This is not an annual award; it should only be awarded occasionally to a truly Outstanding Virginian. • The nominee must be a resident of Virginia but not necessarily a member of The American Legion Auxiliary. • The nominee should be one who is well-known generally on a statewide basis and must be highly respected in their field of endeavor and as a citizen. • The award will be based upon special accomplishments that fall within the aims and purposes of The American Legion Auxiliary.
