Team Empower! Fondue & Facials / Cocktails & Conversation Events The purpose of an event or BBL is to share your excitement with the products and company to your network in a friendly and casual setting. It’s a great way to get a new Consultant started quickly, but this is a great format for events going forward. The sponsor, should do his/her best to provide everything except the products themselves. Many teams partner up to provide food and drinks. Supplies! 1. Products : Be sure to have each regimen, AMP MD, Lip Serum, Night Renewing Serum, Lash Boost, Microdermabrasion Paste, and Essentials products. 2. Pens, Q-Tips, Gauze Pads, & Jumbo Craft Sticks (Sponsor provides). The Jumbo Craft Sticks are for writing down the Solutions Tool recommendations and can double for a free product drawing (optional). The Q-Tips are used to help remove the wash/creams from the containers – avoiding contamination. 3. PC PERKS Enrollment Forms and New PC Welcome Letters (printed) I sometimes like to have a thank you bag with a facial sponge and pack of gum or mints ready for those that fill our Enrollment forms. 4. Product Display Table : We’ll need a kitchen-sized table or long counter to display the products / stations. We’ve found that having the stations in the same room if possible. People like to be together. The sponsor will bring the display towers, mirrored plates/chargers, and optional decorations for the display. Framed images are nice to incorporate into the display or around the room, which the sponsor can also bring. 5 . Before and After Images : Print outs and/or as a TV Slide Show. It’s great to bring an extra laptop. 6. Optional: Product(s) for Raffle: It could be a product from the Essentials Line, or a Glow Pack Sample pack. Schedule / Stations: You or your sponsor should arrive about 30-45 minutes prior to the start time to help set up the product display table and/or Stations. *Make sure that all products have been unpacked ie the plastic wrappings removed too. *Have 10+ Enrollment forms printed, but keep them to the side until you’re sitting down with each person. Station 1: Solutions Tool - Have a computer and/or ipad available for the consultation. Have index cards/craft sticks and pens there so they can refer to it later on. *Ask people to enter their name and email at the end of the recommendation. It will be emailed to them. Station 2 : Product Demo . I believe that the more that our guests touches, smells, and uses the products, they will be more likely to feel comfortable making a purchase. As people come in they can circle around to each station while others arrive. Optional: Display the Redefine Wash, Pore Minimizing Toner, Night Renewing Serum, and PM Cream. *You could also just use the Micro Paste and the NRS. (Demo should be done on the person’s hand rather than on their face. Make sure that they apply the products themselves.) *Use a clean craft stick/Q-Tip to remove the wash at the opening of the containers or to scoop out the paste. This keeps the containers clean/sanitary. Follow with a small amount of NRS. Use the other end of the craft stick to collect a small amount of serum to apply to the hand as well. Finally, finish with the Overnight Restorative Cream using a Q-tip to retrieve a very small amount. Have a clean and dirty place for the sticks, Q-tips, and gauze pads. Have paper towels to use to dry their hands off. ** This can be done as a full group after the presentation. Station 3 : Product Display . Regimens displayed on mirrored trays or chargers. Regimen Towers displayed behind them, add to the look. Include the brochures, Eye Cream, Lip Serum, and Amp MD System. Station 4: Powerpoint Slide Show: If there is a large TV, use a HDMI cord connected to your computer to show a Before and After Powerpoint Slide Show. This should be looped continuously and started prior to your guests arriving. Station 5: Food/Drink - Keep this simple. You’ll be surprised how little people actually eat. Chocolate Fondue is simple and relatively inexpensive with simple dips like strawberries and cookies. With this dessert, wine or sparkling wine pairs well. Other ideas that have been well received and are also easy is a Margarita & Mini Facials Event – Simple chips and salsa and a salad is just right. Cocktails and Conversations and Leave the Aging to Wine and Cheese are also very popular.
Talking Points!!! It’s so great having you all here tonight. We love having these events – it’s such a nice “excuse” to get together. I have loved the friendships that have come from this business. I am really enjoying getting to know … better and am so excited to help support her in this journey. You know, when we talk with people one-on-one, we’re often asked why Rodan+Fields? It’s a great question and I think a good place to start with you guys. For me, I came to R+F as a stressed out mom and elementary school teacher. I was first intrigued with the products, but once I learned more about what our company is built upon and where we are going, I was all in. I joined R+F not knowing where this would take me, but I’m thrilled that I decided to just go for it. I’ve currently quadrupled my job share teaching salary, have retired from teaching 20 years early, and have a life with so much more flexibility. AND you know what the best part is? We’re just getting started. * Other Cs Stories. Background and Future ! Let me tell you where we got started and then I’ll share where we’re going. It’s pretty cool! Our Doctors, Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields, first met during their dermatology residency at Stanford. There they became best friends and together founded Proactiv Solutions early in the 90s. Who here has heard of Proactiv? Everyone right? They took Proactiv into over 180 countries paving the way for what came next. As the saying goes, with success comes opportunity and that’s exactly what happened. They launched Rodan + Fields, their premium anti-aging brand, in 2002 in high-end department stores. By 2006-2007, they became the number on seller at Nordstrom. Think about the skincare brands sold at Nordstrom… outselling all of them! It was a huge achievement, but the Doctors were already quietly planning for more. I’m not sure if you remember, but Proactiv was one of the first brands to use infomercials back in the 90s. People really questioned this approach, but it worked and was an instrumental reason for how they grew so quickly. This type of out-of-the-box thinking is what our Doctors do. So, instead of riding the wave in department stores, they decided to leave and Go-Direct… They knew that a recommendation from a trusted friend was incredibly powerful and with the rise of the Social economy, it made this so much easier. Today, shopping online is something we all do… I don’t think there’s a week that a box from Amazon isn’t on our porch. But back in 2008, people were shocked by all this. You could probably agree that in business, it’s better to lead the way rather than follow the pack… Not only did making this move give more people access to our products (not everyone has a Nordstrom in their town), but, it allowed people like you and I the opportunity to go into business with them. Fast forward 8+ years and we are now #2 in overall premium skincare surpassing Lancôme and Estee Lauder. Our Redefine line is the #1 in anti-aging brand in the U.S. and Unblemish is #1. We are currently in the U.S. and Canada and are launching Australia in a few short months. It’s a very exciting time. Our 2016 stats have yet to be released, but it’s been leaked that we are now a Billion dollar brand. Products! Alright, let’s talk about our products.
