  2. About The Scholarship Academy The mission of The Scholarship Academy is to prove to low income/first generation high school students that college is a realistic possibility. Our aim is to increase the amount of non- federal financial aid “below average” students obtain by equipping them with the necessary tools to aggressively pursue viable scholarship options. The average college student carries an estimated $23,000 worth of student loan debt, which in many cases causes a student to leave school before graduating.
