Renovations and Additions to Abington High School Implement K-5; 6-8; 9-12 Grade Level Organization • Construct New Classroom Wing to create space to accommodate Grade 9 Students at Abington High School and include Grades 9, 10, 11, & 12 • FOCUS ON STEAM with the new Abington High School wing • Change Abington Junior High School to a Grades 6, 7, & 8 Middle School

Next Steps for Educational Plan Superintendent’s Committee Regarding Secondary Programming for Reconfigured Grade Spans COMMITTEE CHARGE The Superintendent’s Committee regarding Secondary Programming for Reconfigured Grade Spans is established to make specific recommendations with regard to the new middle school grade level configuration of grades 6-8 and high school grade level configuration of grades 9-12. These recommendations will include consideration of student transitions from one grade span to another (elementary to middle, and middle to high), school schedules, student activities, curriculum, instruction and assessment, facilities, pupil services, and the continuum of programming from grades K through 12.
