  3. 3DPC’s Mission • The vision of the 3DPC is to make the technology of 3D printing more accessible to all Purdue students through education and first-hand experience. The club will offer to its members and all Purdue students: education, hands-on experience and 3D printer access.

  4. My Mission (2017-2018) • 2016-2017 → Availability of 3D printers to students • How do we drive 3DPC growth? • 3D print lab usage • Club memberships • Student engagement • Refining lab procedures • Partnerships (FYE, etc) • Physical space expansion • Material assets (machines!)

  6. 3D Printing Lab • 3DPC 3D printing Lab • ARMS B098 : Demonstration Studio; I2I Prototyping Studio • 2 Form 2 SLA printers (resin) • 9 Polar3D Desktop Printers (FDM) • 3 Robo3D R1 (FDM) • 1 Ultimaker 2+ (FDM) • Member = free FDM material use

Printing Studio (cont.) • Open to non-members: 10 cents/gram material (PLA) • 20 cents/mL resin on Form 2 machines for everyone • AFL Style • Supervisor(s) running the lab • Growing resources (machines and material) • Student access to work with 3D printers Return when job is complete to Get certified on Go to lab and set up remove your part machines print job/start job from printer/post process
