Who We Are The Clayton Education Foundation has helped advance the School District of Clayton’s culture educational excellence since 2009 by providing financial support to Clayton students and staff for unique learning experiences that go beyond what tax dollars cover.
Our Mission We advance the School District of Clayton’s culture of educational excellence. Our Vision We serve as a sustainable resource that supports innovative learning opportunities for Clayton students.
Our Programs ● Grant Program $40,000 for Fiscal Year 2018 to 11 grants ○ ● Adzick Field ○ $1,142,075 of $2,000,000 raised ● Rick Beard Endowment ○ $66,626.94 for STEM-related activities Sharmon Wilkinson Summer ● Opportunities Grant ○ $10,889 total raised

Goals for the 2018-2019 Fiscal Year ● Expand the Clayton Education Foundation Board to 15 Make personal contact with 1,000 alumni ● ● Raise $100,000 ● Establish an annual donor community ● Establish an advisory committee comprised of alumni, alumni parents, parents and faculty for specific assistance
How We’ll Get There Identify Donor Contacts ● Enhance and expand database of alumni, parents, grandparents, past donors and retired teachers ● Develop an emotional connection with donors by developing stories and using videos about funded projects ● Board to identify personal contacts for telephone and postcard contact ● Host social events to have face-time with donors and personally deliver our message
How We’ll Get There Develop a Campaign Theme and Strategy ● Create the message that incorporates who we are and what we do with the resulting benefits ● Develop key message points to make the emotional connection Design a multi-channel communication strategy using multiple social ● media, regularly scheduled email blasts, mailed letters and postcards and calls on donors ● Develop a script and talking points for personal interface
