Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority IFB-FQ15074 Install (6) DC Switchgear Lineups Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) 34%. $500,000 or more for a construction contract. Submit complete schedule of DBE participation and Letters of Intent. All DBEs must have current WMATA DBE certifications. It is the policy of WMATA, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (US DOT) that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE’s) shall have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in performing federally -assisted contracts, including contractors and subcontractors at any tier.

All DBEs must submit a copy of their current WMATA or DC DOT certification letters or a certification letter issued by the MWUCP. 2. DBE Manufacturer’s Affidavit, if applicable, must be submitted in order to receive 100 percent of the allowable credit for expenditures to DBE manufacturers/suppliers (Attachment B-4). 3. Schedule B Information for Determining Joint Venture Eligibility, if applicable (Attachment B-5, pgs. 1, 2, 3, 4). 4. Copy of Joint Venture Agreement, if applicable. 5. Certification letter of the DBE regular dealer/supplier, if applicable.

Purpose  To provide an overview of the Scope of Work: • Modify Authority furnished switchgear as indicated • Replace existing DC Switchgear with the Authority furnished equipment at the following six (6) TBS Stations: 1. A08TB Friendship Heights 2. A10TB1 Medical Center 3. B02TB Judiciary Square 4. B06TB2 Brookland 5. B08TB2 Noyes Lane 6. F09TB Naylor Road

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority IFB-FQ15074 Install (6) DC Switchgear Lineups Project Highlights • Replace existing DC Switchgear equipment with Authority provided equipment at six (6) locations in the District of Columbia and Maryland • Contractor is responsible to perform design of the ancillary equipment being furnished under this contract • Contractor is expected to work 12 hour shifts at times indicated in Section 01141 ACCESS TO SITE • Contractor is Responsible for Field Testing and Commissioning of equipment at each site
