PROFIT PERFORMANCE ROYAL LONDON • Sales of new premium pensions business were up by 39% on 2013 • Asset management attracted £2 billion of new money • Asset under management rose by 12% year on year to £82 billion • Core operating profit £220 million before tax, a healthy 12% increase on 2013 • Good progress integrating the businesses required from Co-op • £61 million one off hit to our profits due a price cap on workplace pensions 5
PROFIT SHARE • Allocated a profit share of £60 million to relevant policyholders • £466 million the amount shared with eligible members since 2007 • We continue to work with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to find ways in which profit share can be distributed more widely amongst members 6

Winning a series of awards • Fixed Income Manager of the Year at the European Pension Awards • RLAM won 13 industry awards for investment performance and service quality • Our pension members money is managed in 1 of 9 portfolios, determined by the members attitude to risk • Governed portfolios enjoyed investment growth of 7.6% 7
