Previous Parent/Guardian Portal Access  Previously wasn’t open until the 3 rd week of school  VCS parents/guardians/students had access to student data and digital resources via several portals:  Vportal (student accounts only)  VCS Parent Portal (parent accounts only)  Wazzle Gradebook

The Focus portal will provide access to a variety of student information:  Grades/gradebook  Attendance  Progress toward graduation  Academic history  Discipline  Test history  And more…

Focus Portal Highlights  Most parents/guardians can register for Focus account entirely online  Passwords can be reset online using self-service  Data is live; much more data than current gradebook portal  Email notifications can be set up for attendance, grades  In future—parents will be able to update certain info, complete forms, and even register children for school entirely online
