Engagement • Meet client at their level – Find common ground – Physical proximity/engagement • Don’t take rejection personally • Give before expecting to connect – Basic necessities • Create an objective no matter how simple • Broker Expectations • Differences between clinical/non clinical – Lived experience, clinical perspective, etc.
