The Ulster Fry is one of the best known dishes in Northern Ireland, and it is loaded with things that are utterly delicious: bacon, egg, soda bread, sausage, potato bread, mushrooms, fried tomato, baked beans and black pudding. Northern Ireland’s Tayto crisps are made at a 500-year-old castle. They are sent to Northern Irish people all around the world as a “taste of home”.
Soda bread is one of Northern Ireland’s unique griddle breads, it can be eaten straightaway, or cooked until golden in an Ulster fry. They are sometimes eaten with butter and homemade jam. Irish Stew is a traditional dish for Northern Ireland. Homemade with a variety of meat and root vegetables cooked together to make a delicious dish.
