Organizational Overview Who We Are The Four Corners International Mission, Inc. (FCIM) is a nonprofit, faith-based mission organization. The vision for FCIM was established in 2001 after Pastor Charles Cato conducted his first missionary trip to Guyana. These efforts have grown over the years and culminated in the incorporation of FCIM. Our missionary work has led FCIM to the continents of Africa, South America and Europe affecting the lives of thousands of people in need. FCIM is a hands on ministry that is operated by volunteer workers who have a heart for people in need. Four Corners would like to have you to partner with us to meet the needs of people around the world. Mission FCIM is dedicated to biblical teaching, economic development, educational enrichment and medical programs to aid impoverished people throughout the world.
At Work in Guyana FCIM has been working with the people in Goshen, Guyana for about fifteen years. During this period FCIM has: • Assisted in funding and building a church in Goshen. • Evaluate and provide free medical healthcare, • Distribute prescription and over-the-counter medications, • Assisted in purchasing motors for their boats which is their main transportation source. • Conducted Crusades in the region, • Participate in a Godparent program, whereby we adopt children from the area, providing clothing, educational materials and financial support.
FCIM’s efforts can be divided into four categories in Guyana: Spiritual Development, Economic Development, Spiritual Development includes: Conducting biblical crusades in regions impacted by the hardships of poverty and sickness. Built and staffed Goshen Baptist Church in Guyana. Financially supports Goshen’s Baptist Church’s Pastor. Providing financial support for ministry in Suriname. Economic Development includes: Furnishing Guyana women with electric sewing machines and a generator that enabled development of an informal business to sell their wares to citizens of a neighboring village. Providing outboard motors for boats, the sole source of transportation for food, work, and medical care in Goshen, Guyana.
Child Development and the establishment and implementation of Medical Services. Child Development includes: Guyanese children are adopted and financially supported by caring sponsors. Medical Services includes: Setting up free clinics for the residents, Provide diagnostic assessment and counseling, Evaluate and provide free medical healthcare and health education to the clients,
