Etsy in the UK: Four Corners of Craft Maker development and exhibition project in partnership with creative organisations throughout the UK. Culminating in an exhibition of beautiful contemporary craft by 45 designer-makers from England, Scotland, N. Ireland and Wales at Tent London during London Design Festival. 11
Project partners Lead partners include: London Design Festival, Tent London, Crafts Council, Contemporary Applied Arts, The Design Trust, Craft Scotland, Creative Scotland, Craft NI, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Helfa Gelf. With support from: Arts Council of Wales, Ruthin Craft Centre, The Makers’ Guild in Wales and many more incredible creative organisations around the UK. 12

Timeline Important dates • Exhibition runs: 24-27 Sept • Private View: Thursday 24 Sept (6-8pm) • Delivery: Thursday 17 Sept 10am-5pm (office) OR Monday 21 Sept 10am (gallery) • Collection: Monday 28 Sept (gallery) 10am-3pm OR Wed 30 Sept 10am-5pm www.etsy.com/uk/shop/JamFurnitureDesign (office) 22
Delivery / Collection requirements • Product selection request sent w/c 29 June. • You are responsible for delivery and collection of your work (you will dispatch any sales after the show, once you have collected your work from us). • Unfortunately we cannot cover costs of delivering/collecting work or your travel to London. • Delivery / collection addresses emailed to exhibitors on 30 July. 23
Sales • All work will be for sale, but nothing will be taken away during the exhibition. • You will be responsible for dispatching any sales after the exhibition (once you have collected from Etsy, unless you have multiples of stock to send out in the meantime). • We cannot manage any customer collections from the office after the show. • All sales will be processed through your Etsy shop. • Please mark the listings for your selected items as RESERVED FOR FOUR CORNERS OF CRAFT so customers can clearly find those pieces and they are available during the exhibition. • You will be able to sell multiples if available, so please update the stock on your listing accordingly. 24
Promotions • Press release: Latest version sent to sellers 30 July. Please share with your press contacts. • Social media: Promote the exhibition via your social media channels using the hashtag #MakingUK and handle @EtsyUK. • Exhibition landing page: Always direct people to: etsy.me/fourcornersofcraft • Etsy PR & Comms Top Tips: To help you promote your Etsy shop and the exhibition. • Design Assets: Our design team are working on the e-invite for you to send to your mailing lists and also a special shop banner for you to add to your Etsy shop; both coming soon! • LDF & Tent: Working closely with both to promote the exhibition, inc. online and in print listings. • Tent talks: We will also be participating in the Tent talks programme and have invited a maker from each region to speak about their practice on Thursday 24 Sept. 25
