LNG IN SNELLE OPMARS IN EUROPA MAAR… A recent critical article by Transport&Environment was 'blindly' adopted by various media. Selective and creative use was made of TNO reports on how the emissions of LNG trucks compare to those of diesel trucks. The conclusions of T&E's report are not in line with the available test results. EXCISE DUTY NEW COMPENSATION SCHEME From 1 January 2020 to 1 January 2022. Internet consultation ended yesterday. Compensation amounts to 18.75 euro cents per kilogram (excluding VAT) and is directly included in the pump price. From 2022 onwards: blending obligation will be increased to 20% in 20230 (REDII). This offers opportunities for Bio-LNG resulting from the fermentation of waste streams, without competing with the food chain. Excise duty Germany: 18.4 cents until 2026 frozen.
