Ideal Image President’s Club Client: Ideal Image Products Used: Full Color Wrap Rolling Luggage, Sound Tube, White Leather Passport Holder, Beach Tote Bag and Dry Swim Bag, Round Mandela Beach Towel, Sunscreen & Aloe, Men’s and Women’s Polos, Beach Hat, Phone Charging Cord Lanyard Ideal Image was a new client looking for a creative travel gift set to celebrate their recent rebranding as well as announce the winners of this years prestigious Ideal Image President’s Club. The company made a “splash” by surprising the winners with a rolling carry-on luggage travel gift package for their upcoming trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. One of the creative highlights of the package was a light activated sound tube with a voice recording of the Director of HR congratulating the winner and telling them to “pack their bag” and join them for fun in the sun in Mexico. A second mailing was sent out prior to the trip including an Ame & Lulu beach tote with dry swim bag, 2 Round Mandela towels and an Aloe Up kit with sunscreen and aloe. 2
Easter Weekend Kites for School Children in Guyana Client: ExxonMobil Products Used: Diamond Shape Kite The goal of this project was to give 3,000 school children in Guyana a kite (with the ExxonMobil logo) for them to fly on Easter Weekend which is an annual tradition in Guyana. On Easter Weekend, the sky was filled with beautiful red and blue kites with the ExxonMobil logo and a videographer captured the celebratory moment in the facebook promo video link below. Walk A Mile in Their Shoes Client: Heartly House Products Used: Banner, Posters, T-Shirts, Tote Bags, Car Magnets, Giving Envelopes, House Shaped Donation Box In October 2017, Heartly House renamed its “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event to “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” to better represent all victims. The client opened the event up to everyone -- people of all genders and ages -- the goal was to make this event fully inclusive and family-friendly. Participants were asked to wear shoes symbolizing a person whom they knew who was or is being abused or assaulted or the shoes of a group of victims about which they particularly wanted to raise awareness. ln this way, participants could also honor male and child victims. Changing the format of the event required new logo and collateral materials. HALO redesigned the original “Stiletto Shoe” logo to a pair of high top sneakers to resonate with the new inclusive audience and promoted it through all products and materials relating to the walk. 4
Family Reunion Trip Client: JM&A Group Products Used: FC tin, Old Maid playing cards, FC luggage tags, FC puzzle, three squirt guns which include a whale, shark & dolphin The JM&A Group has annual incentive trips and for their 2016 family oriented trip. They wanted a unique mailer to generate excitement and provide entertainment for the kids during the trip. HALO was asked to come up with packaging ideas to fill with entertaining items and all the necessary documents for the trip. This included custom luggage tags, fun logo puzzles, playing cards, and squirt guns. HALO did this using a tin, with a custom foam cutout and the company’s colorful, fun logo for the trip. Inside the case, were toys, games, and the trip program with all the trip details. This definitely generated the excitement the company was hoping for. 5
Prindle Granola Bars Client: The Prindle Institute for Ethics / DePauw University Products Used: Granola Bars The Prindle Institute for Ethics out of DePauw University was looking to recruit interns for the summer session. The University held an open house and gave out the granola bars to everyone who attended the event. The granola bars were imprinted with the time frame for applying along with the website where applicants could sign up. The promotion was a huge hit resulting in the university filling its’ intern program and ordering more granola bars for an upcoming event. 6
Bausch + Lomb Platinum Club Client: Bausch + Lomb Products Used: Party To Go Igloo Cooler, Tone on Tone Beach Towel, Stainless Double Wall Tumbler, Stuffed Animals (Fish, Parrot, Crab), Novelty “Sun” Sunglasses, Novelty Caribbean Parrot Sunglasses, Hotel Brochure Bausch & Lomb’s needed to create excitement and deliver some essentials for its National Sales Meeting at the Grand Cayman with its Platinum Club Winners. HALO developed fun and interactive promotion by surprising Platinum Club Winners with a mailer containing a beach towel, stainless steel tumbler, stuffed animals, sunglasses, and a hotel brochure packaged in a party Igloo cooler. Mailers were shipped with a note on the outside of the box warning “Something Crazy & Exciting” was inside. Recipients were invited to share their unboxing experience with photographs of themselves with their products. 7
Family Confirmation Gift Client: JM&A Group Products Used: Adirodack Beach Chair Planter, Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Film Camera, Instant Film 2 Pack, Set of six photo cubes, Selfie Stick, Custom Frame from Morris Magnets JM&A Group, an affiliate of a Fortune 500 company, reached out to HALO for their “family reunion” trip. This trip is planned every other year as an incentive for 500 families of four. HALO was asked to come up with creative, fun ideas that can be sent to the winners as a confirmation gift to generate excitement for the whole entire family. The gifts must appeal to different ages including young children, teens and adults. HALO created a fun beach themed photo gift, all packaged in a mini Adirondack beach chair. The customer was thrilled with the results and the recipients raved about the items they received. 2018 PPAI PYRAMID AWARD WINNER 8
Be Current Meditation Client: Current Meditation Products Used: Journals, Bottles, Paper Cups, Apparel, Writing Instruments, RX Pads Mindfulness, a retail meditation studio, is on the path to franchising and is focused on enticing customers to participate and sign up for classes and monthly subscriptions. HALO helped create items like water bottles and journals as well as paper tea cups that are used in the studio to strengthen the brand. The apparel was designed to enhance the experience with taglines like, “Don’t Judge” and “Be Current”. The ‘copy-cat’ RX prescription pad features art designed to prescribe ‘meditation’ and continued the well-thought out messaging and branding. 9
Summit of Intersections Client: Wellshouse Products Used: Bags, Lanyards, Fidget Spinners The Summit of Intersections is a conference designed to bring together experts in Intimate Partner Abuse, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and Substance Use Disorders. During the conference, experts in these fields provided panels and workshops to explore the intersection of these three phenomena. Printed materials and promotional products were distributed to those attending the conference. Each attendee received a bag, lanyard, fidget spinner, multiple resource guides and a program guide. The first-time event was a success with 150 individuals attending the event, $16,500 dollars raised for future education, and plans to make the conference an annual event 10
Oceania Cruises Reunion Cruise Gift Client: Oceania Cruises Products Used: Deluxe Wooden Treasure Box in Rosewood Finish, Gift Wrapped with White Gloss Paper and Blue Logo Ribbon, Personal Note Card Oceania Cruises was looking for a commemorative gift to give its club members for their Reunion Cruise. The gift had to remind the members of their journey and encourage repeat business. HALO developed this beautiful keepsake box imprint with a full color itinerary map of the reunion cruise. The gift was wrapped with a white gloss paper and navy blue ribbon with the logo in white. Cruise guests view the items as collector keepsake items and look forward to receiving them as a daily reminder of their journey. 11
Sam Houston Area Council BSA Clay Shoot Client: Schlumberger Products Used: Wooden Charger Plate, Shooting Shirts, Camo Caps, Dry Bag, Sunscreen/Insect Repellent, Crystal Laser Award The Sam Houston Area Council BSA Clay Shoot is an annual fund raiser where committee members, entrants, and event winners are recognized. Committee members were give shooting shirts to wear for identification purposes. Participants were given a dry bag that included sunscreen, repellent, and a camo cap. Essentials Tour Client: Thermo Fisher Scientific Products Used: Lunch Boxes, Flash drives, Test Tube “floaties”, T-Shirts, Guitar Picks, and Magic Cubes A Rock and Roll theme provided a great way of rolling out an extended marketing theme focusing on the essential “tour” of products offered by Thermo Fisher Scientific. The company is a world leader in serving science that enables their customers to make the world healthier and safer. The artwork includes several iconic album covers: The Beatles’ Abbey Road, Nirvana’s Nevermind, Bruce Springsteen’s Greatest Hits, Metallica’s Master of Puppets plus two other album covers - Run DMC’s Greatest Hits album and Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. These album covers were transformed into promotional products like lunch boxes and flash drives. 13
