Conceptual Construction Phasing  Direct Connector Bridges will be replaced and removed one at a time to minimize disruptions to existing traffic patterns, in this order: – Southbound I-69C to Westbound I-2 – Southbound I-69C to Eastbound I-2 – Eastbound I-2 to Northbound I-69C – Westbound I-2 to Northbound I-69C  The new bridges can mostly be constructed while traffic remains in its current location  Temporary detours will be required for roadway and bridge construction.  Remaining highway lane, frontage road, and ramp optimization work will be interwoven into the direct connector replacement phases to provide least possible impact to traveling public 14
