This annual event will be a review of the 2018/19 academic year and provides the School with a wonderful opportunity to reflect and celebrate the successes of current students and the marvellous results of our 2019 Leavers who have just completed their GCSE Examinations. Prizes will be presented to pupils in each year group for attainment, effort, community service and attendance, as well as recognising sporting, musical and dramatic achievements. We are delighted to announce that David Evans MBE, will be Guest of Honour. Mr Evans is a hugely successful businessman who was hono ured by Her Majesty The Queen for his “Services to Corporate Social Responsibility”. His foundation, The David Evans Grass Roots Foundation, funds a number of projects that are dedicated to supporting and fostering education initiatives for younger people. We are delighted that Mr Evans has agreed to attend the event as Guest of Honour and that he will address our pupils on the evening. This is a whole school event and the highlight of our academic calendar. As such, all pupils are expected to attend and be in full school uniform for the evening. Everyone is invited, so please bring along family and friends to join in our celebration, especially if you are a family new to the School. Should you wish to begin your evening by meeting up socially with friends and family, the Plaza Bar will be open to all from 6.00pm. Prize winners are asked to be in their seats by 6.45pm and all other guests should take their seats in the auditorium for a 7.00pm start. Tickets can be ordered via the attached reply slip and must be returned to the School Office no later than Friday 8 th November 2019. There is no charge for tickets, but returning the form will help us to predict numbers for the evening. Please do not hesitate to contact the School Office should you require further clarification.
