Committees - OPEN Public Relations Communicate upcoming events to local businesses, schools, and media (print and visual) involving the Holly Springs High School Band and of this organization. Provide information to the school newsletter and school website. PTSA Liaison Will attend Holly Springs High School PTSA regular meetings. Communicates actives of the Band Program and Booster organization and reports PTSA functions to the Booster Organization. May work on collaborating projects. Alumni Committee Purpose is to promote social opportunities for HSHS band alumni and parents, and to provide financial support for scholarships and sustainability to Holly Springs High School Band. The Alumni Committee will designate gifts and/or scholarships as fundraising allows with input of the HSHS Band Boosters Executive Board. Scholarship Committee Purpose is to assist the Director of Bands identify and award scholarships to qualified graduating seniors. Help Needed: Volunteer to work with Barry Fazekas as Google Calendar Administrator! Duties: 1. Maintain Google Calendar, posting updates as received from band director and band booster executive board and committee chairs. 2. Monitor emails sent out by band director for anything you don't receive directly from him. 3. When many changes are made, send out notice on Google Groups to members that the calendar has received major updates.

Band Parent Veterans - Help Needed: Volunteer to work with Teresa Bozzano with New Member Mentoring! 1. Be a welcoming introduction to band for new parents, pass along our Band Manual, and make yourself available to answer their questions as the season progresses. 2. Band Camp and the band season can be overwhelming for anyone’s first time. 3. You will always be their contact when help is needed.

Fundraising Band Fundraising Each family is expected to participate in band fundraisers These fundraising efforts help to cover the cost of operating the band, repairs, maintenance, clinicians, etc. Student Account Fundraisers Multiple opportunities to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for fair share costs and extra-curricular activities Capital Fundraising Big push this year to get community support Will support the purchase of new instruments and uniform and transportation needs (truck)
