Green Purchasing Best Practices: Imaging Equipment Adopt Procurement Policy for Green Electronics Maryland’s Green Purchasing Committee has adopted Guidelines for electronic equipment. The State of Maryland, in accordance with State Finance and Procurement Article Section 4-414, requires that when purchasing EPEAT eligible electronic products, state units purchase electronic products that comply with the following: • Listed or rated gold or silver on the EPEAT registry.
