Reduce • LED Core Lighting Replacem ent in Building 2 – Halogen lightning replaced per maintenance schedule has resulted in reduced energy usage. • Pow er Shedding Program - APS’s Peak Solutions Demand Response Program has potential to reduce the energy load at Headquarters by 623 kwh. • HVAC - The HVAC department has scheduled usage according to occupied and non-occupied times resulting in a savings of 5 0 ,5 8 0 kw h in a 9-month period at Headquarters. • Applied CoolW all Paint at CAP HQ potentially lowering building temperatures and reducing energy consumption. Recycling Moving Forw ard • The recent Regulated Waste Management internal audit revealed areas for improvement in recycling. • The current recycling program will continue and an enhanced recycling and reuse plan is in the process of being developed. • So far the program generates enough revenue from the sale of recyclables to pay for the costs of the recycling company services.
