Piraeus • Piraeus is a Port City in the region of Attica, Greece. • It is located within the Athens urban area,12 kilometers southwest from its city center (municipality of Athens). • According to the 2011 census, Piraeus had a population of 163,688 people within its administrative limits, making it the 4th largest municipality in Greece and the 2nd largest within the urban area of the Greek capital (Athens). • The municipality of Piraeus and several other suburban municipalities within the regional unit of Piraeus form the greater Piraeus area, with a total population of 448,997 .

School History • Founded in the 1950s • Original field of expertise: textile and knitting craftsman • Donated by the local textile industries for the training of staff (students attended from all over the country) • Part of the public secondary education since 1980’s • In continuous operation till nowadays, it offers several fields of expertise of Vocational Education
