English Champions: We organise peer support groups for students – teaming up • students from GCSE classes to help Key stage 3 students with their class and homework in lunch sessions.

  16. Homework Key stage three: Homework is set once a week in Years 7 -9 and is always • linked by theme or skill to the topic that the students are studying in class. We like to offer a range of homework tasks suited to varying learning styles. Key stage four: Homework is also set once a week and is often linked to • the unit of work being studied in class. Due to the nature of GCSEs, homework will often be directly linked to a piece of assessment or further exploring the task covered in class.
