What is Parent Support Group (PSG)? 1) Supportive Partner in Education • Support the children to enrich their learning in school • Support the teachers to bring out the best in our children • Support the school to strengthen school- based activities • Support other parents in the parenting journey

ALPS Parent Support Group Executive Committee (PSG EXCO) • Vision • To be a valuable partner in the nurturing of ALPS pupils, enabling every child to GROW and GLOW. • Objectives • To support the school, as partners, in its mission and vision for the pupils of Alexandra Primary School; and • To create a network of links for the school, its families and the community.
2018/2019 Parent Support Group Executive Committee (PSG EXCO)
Parent Support Group Member (PSG Member) • Contributing to the School - Time to design and conduct school’s programmes and events - Talent, expertise, individual interests or personal network - Thoughts by giving constructive feedbacks and ideas to improve the school and the PSG
Parent Class Representative (PCR) • 2 PCRs per class • Roles of PCR – Communication channel between the school and parents of the class – Provide information/updates from school to parents – Co-ordinate requests by school for parents volunteers (PVs) to assist in school programs and activities
